Born in a small town in New Hampshire, surrounded by nature , friends & a large family Mark Vose was destined to become a talented artist. His summer visits to his very talented grandmother ( a painter also) in Boston, Mass. she helped to inspire him in the art of painting on breadboards & canvases . Spending these times and others honing his craft, Mark has built a career as a mural artist on both interior and exterior walls in several cities on the eastern seaboard.
He currently enjoys painting large and small scale murals in a style known as” Trompe L’ Oeil “ , a French term meaning “to trick the eye’” (see video below for an example)
Mark strives to be passionate about environmental issues, such as ecological awareness, rain forest depletion and the pollution of our air and sea. He tries to donate one or two murals each year in and around south Florida to help commemorate Earth Day.
.
By translating this passion into his murals, he is hoping to inspire others to get involved and do their part to help ensure a healthier planet for future generations..
